Anyone Can Do
CrossFit.
60 minute CrossFit classes for anyone. Whatever you walk in with, the workout gets built around you, and you leave having learned something.
Sixty minutes,
every one coached.
Anyone can do this.
We mean it.
We firmly build classes and coaching around workouts for anyone at any level. No background, no baseline, no injury history rules you out, because every session is designed to be scaled to the person doing it.
What we ask of a class is that it be accessible, fun, and a good hour of learning. You should leave with a workout behind you and a room full of people who know your name, but you should also leave knowing something you did not know when you walked in. A cue that finally clicked, a position that stopped hurting, a lift that moved better.

The Coaching Staff
- Every coach is full time, not evenings picked up around another career
- Part-time sub coaches cover the days that need covering
- Over 50 years of combined coaching experience on staff
- All programming written in house, aimed at this membership
- Coaches who know your history and what you are chasing
Built Around You
- Loads and volume set with your coach in the briefing
- A lighter bar or a different pull, same workout, same stimulus
- Beginner and advanced gymnastics tracks in the same class
- Capped at 24 so a coach gets to every person in the room
- Scaling is the class aimed correctly, not a lesser version of it
Written here,
for this room.
Weightlifting
Barbell cycles that build the snatch, the clean and jerk, and the strength lifts underneath them. Technique work comes before load, strength runs on percentages, and accessory work fills the gaps the main lifts leave open.
See Current CycleGymnastics
Two tracks running side by side in the same class. Beginner work toward a first pull up, first push up, first handstand. Advanced work on muscle ups, handstand walking, and high-skill volume. Progressions you keep moving through rather than plateau on.
See Workouts In AppConditioning
Engine work with a point to it, varied across time domains and modalities on purpose. Short sharp efforts and long grinds both. Pacing and breathing get coached rather than assumed, and everything is scaled so the intended stimulus is what you actually get.

Run with the HERD.
HERD is a second programming track that runs alongside class programming and complements it rather than competing with it. Built for extra volume, a specific weakness you want to attack, or competitive goals. Free with your membership.

Before you walk in.
Do I need to be fit already?+
No. Every movement in every class scales, and scaling is a normal part of how the hour runs rather than something reserved for beginners. If CrossFit is brand new to you, start with our on-ramp so you get structured onboarding first.
How long is a class, and what happens in it?+
Sixty minutes, covering the warm up, the coaching and briefing, and the workout itself. Your coach is with the room the entire time, not just for the explanation at the start.
How many people are in a class?+
Classes are capped at 24 athletes. The cap exists so coaching stays hands on and a coach can actually get to every person during the workout.
Where do I see the workouts?+
Everything lives in our app at westwood-fitness.com/app. You can also read what we are working through right now in the current cycle overview.
Who writes the programming?+
We do, in house, with a coaching staff carrying over 50 years of combined experience. It is aimed specifically at the needs of our membership, which is why it changes as the room changes. Every facet gets its own progression: weightlifting, beginner and advanced gymnastics, and conditioning.
What if one hour a day is not enough?+
Run with HERD. It is a free additional programming track that complements class programming, built for extra volume, targeted weaknesses, or competitive goals. Ask any coach to get you set up on it.
I have an old injury. Can I still train?+
Usually, yes, and telling your coach about it is exactly what the briefing is for. We will build your version of the session around what your body can do right now. If you want a slower, fully private start, our coaching services are a good route in.
Can I do classes and one-on-one coaching together?+
Plenty of our members do. Classes give you the community and the hour of coached training, and private sessions let you attack something specific. See the options on our services page.
Come take a class.
Bring whatever you have got. Sixty minutes, a coach who knows your name, and a room that will be glad you showed up. We will handle the rest.
